Dr. Jame Schaefer is associate professor in systematic theology and ethics at Marquette University.  Her focus is the joining of theology and the natural sciences.  In 2009, her book, Theological Foundations for Environmental Ethics, was published which investigates the ways in which religion can play a dynamic role in the revitalization of our planet during the age of ecological unrest.

Earlier this year, her article, "New Hope for the Oceans: Engaging Faith-Based Communities in Marine Conservation", was published in Frontiers in Marine Science.
You can learn more about Dr. Schaefer's work here.
Interfaith Oceans is a program of the World Stewardship Institute, a 501(c)3 organization, and the National Religious Coalition on Creation Care.
